Your footwear R&D partner
from material and mould
to volume production

Guang Xin Industrial (formerly Der You) has spent more than 20 years in shoe mould making and footwear material development, bringing insoles, outsoles, functional pillows and graphene composites together so a brand's concept reaches the market as a product that can actually be repeated.

Making the product is the easy part.
Making it competitive is the work.

Clarify the requirement first, then integrate formulation, structure, sampling and quality control so development never breaks between stages.

Guang Xin Industrial Co., Ltd. was established in 2003, continuing the shoe mould making and footwear material development business previously run as Der You. For more than two decades our role has not been that of a plain contract shop but of a translator between brand and factory: turning a functional claim into a formulation, a structure and a set of process parameters that can be reproduced batch after batch.

Most OEM projects do not stall because something cannot be made. They stall because the sample works and the production run does not. A single sample can be rescued by a skilled operator; ten thousand pairs need parameters. That is why we bring production conditions into the first conversation: which density delivers that hardness, what yield that lamination gives on the line, whether the draft angle survives the mould.

We hold both the tooling and the material side in house, which is uncommon in footwear contract manufacturing. Most factories specialise in one and subcontract the other, which fragments responsibility and schedule. Keeping both under one roof means structure and material can accommodate each other instead of forcing a compromise.

DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

Complex development,
six clear steps

Each stage has a defined deliverable and sign-off point, which cuts rework and keeps sampling, testing and production connected.

01

Requirement review

Positioning, functional claim, size and volume, then the material and structure routes that can actually deliver them.

02

Product planning

A proposal balancing formulation, structure and cost, with an estimate for tooling and sampling lead time.

03

Sampling

Samples to confirm feel, hardness and appearance, revised and then run as a small pilot batch.

04

Production

Dedicated line, raw material to finished part in our own factory, with process parameters recorded.

05

Quality check

Batch-by-batch inspection before shipment for dimensions, appearance and functional consistency.

MATERIAL INNOVATION

TakeSoft
patented green latex

Our own natural latex and binchotan charcoal composite, extendable to insoles, pillows and other functional products.

TakeSoft is our own patented latex material. The approach is to compound natural latex with binchotan charcoal at high density rather than treat the surface of a finished part, so the material property sits in the body and does not fall away as the surface wears.

At material level the claims run to five areas: anti-mould, antibacterial, breathability, deodorising and far infrared. It matters to say this precisely: these are directions of the material, not performance figures for a finished product. Antibacterial rate and breathability of an actual product depend on loading, substrate and lamination, and must be measured on the finished item by a standard method such as AATCC 100 or ISO 20743. We recommend brands rely on their own test report for any published claim.

Shape, thickness, firmness and packaging are all adjustable to your positioning. If a different material route suits better, we also offer PU, EVA, memory foam and other composites for comparison.

Natural latex is a protein-bearing natural material; we recommend the finished product declares its composition so allergy-prone users can judge for themselves.

CAPABILITY

Materials and tooling we handle

The worst moment in footwear OEM is choosing a material and then finding it cannot be tooled. This is what runs through the factory routinely.
